In these paintings, the process of creation becomes part of the image itself. The women do not paint on canvas, but almost in the space before them - with gesture, light and color they build a delicate veil between themselves and the viewer. The image comes into being before the viewer, while the boundary between reality and abstraction remains fluid and ambiguous.
